Sausage Gravy & Biscuits

Ingredients (per serving):

Directions:

  1. Remove sausage from casing if there is any. Brown the sausage over medium heat. Do not drain when done.
  2. Add the milk.
  3. Pushing the sausage to one side of the pan, use the other side to slowly stir the flour into the milk until it reaches a smooth texture. Keep in mind that the gravy will continue to thicken after you stop adding flour.
  4. Split the biscuits and top with gravy.

Note: I have found that Pillsbury makes a frozen biscuit that is very convenient for small servings. Cook what you need. They take about 22-24 minutes to bake. The sausage gravy takes about 10 minutes for a single serving.
