Roasted Garlic Bread
Roasted Garlic
Ingredients:
- 1 large head garlic
- olive oil
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Slice off top of the head of garlic. Remove excess paper.
- Place garlic on a square of aluminum foil and drizzle with oil. Wrap in foil and place in a shallow dish or on a baking pan.
- Bake for 40 minutes. Remove and allow to cool.
Roasted Garlic Bread
Ingredients:
- 2 heads roasted garlic
- 4-5 tbsp softened butter
- 2-3 tbsp fresh chopped parsley (dry will also work)
- 1 loaf italian bread
Directions:
- Squeeze cooled garlic into butter and add parsley. Use a spatula to fold ingredients together.
- Slice bread longways and spread butter mixture evenly across the two halfs.
- Place bread on a baking pan, buttered side up, under low broiler until toasted to a golden brown, 5-8 minutes. Keep a close eye on it as it goes from not quite done to burnt very quickly .
