Roasted Garlic
Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Slice off top of the head of garlic. Remove excess paper.
  3. Place garlic on a square of aluminum foil and drizzle with oil. Wrap in foil and place in a shallow dish or on a baking pan.
  4. Bake for 40 minutes. Remove and allow to cool.

  1. Squeeze cooled garlic into butter and add parsley. Use a spatula to fold ingredients together.
  2. Slice bread longways and spread butter mixture evenly across the two halfs.
  3. Place bread on a baking pan, buttered side up, under low broiler until toasted to a golden brown, 5-8 minutes. Keep a close eye on it as it goes from not quite done to burnt very quickly .
